Welcome fellow readers and lovers of all things bookish

Having embarked on book blogging and book reviewing in earnest over the last two years, I am undertaking my second blog here on blogger.com. I am hoping to reach a wider audience and I definitely encourage sharing.

I am an avid reader who is also writing, although that is not my only artistic endeavor. I am enjoying the privilege of reading authors whose work has yet to hit the shelves, authors whose work already graces the shelves and authors whose work has stood the test of time but perhaps have slipped from sight.

I have always had a love of all things books and have been writing since I could pick up a pen or pencil. You can expect book reviews and maybe the odd opinion piece about books. I try to publish with regularity which at this point is about once or twice a month. I am forcing myself out of the comfort zone by taking on this second blog and hoping to publish once a week.

But let's face it - I still need time to read!! Hope you enjoy the reviews!
